History of Tattoo

Putting an Ink to a body have been a practice of the Eurasian at the time around the Neolithic age. There is a body discovered that have been believe to live at the time around fourth to fifth millennium BC, it was name Otzi the Iceman as he was discovered at Ötz valley. Otzi the Iceman have a tattoo on his body. On his body, there was a simple dots and lines on his lower spine, behind his left knee, and on his right ankle.

There are also bodies that have been discovered in Egypt that may have been live at around the second millennium BC,it was the Mummy of Amunet which also bears tattoos on the body. Also the mummies at Pazyryk on the Ukok Plateau. bears a tattoo on his body.

During the time of Pre-Christian times, there are the civilization from northern European tribes such as the Celtics who are often heavily tattooed. These heavily tattooed men have a dark blue woad tattoo design. These tattoos have been mentioned by Julius Caesar in his Book V of his Gallic Wars.
